I have just heard that owning your own business is so incredibly hard, and I have no start up funds. I would be supporting local producers - local farmers, and local crafts people. And this country will not have a hard time surviving, because not many people DO feel like this. It's is not about not wanting to spend, it's about wanting to enjoy my life by living simply. When I have a family, I don't want to have to work hard to be able to afford someone else to take care of my children. I want to enjoy my time with my husband and children.
