Things I should have done today:
-Bake pumpkin bread
-Return the incredibly large amount of soda cans to the redemption center
-Clean my room
-Put away my clean clothes
-Call my insurance company about my dental coverage
-Ordered campaign signs
-Gone to the salvation army and to consignments shops just to look around, and get out of the house
Things I actually did today:
- stayed in bed until noonish. I was awake, and had gone downstairs to eat breakfast at 9, but then went back upstairs in bed because it was very cold downstairs. So I sat in bed, chatted on Skype with Barny, and read a book
- Ran three miles
- Showered, ate lunch, got dressed
- Drove up to the Hospice House, and went to visit a patient with Lynne (at 4pm)
- Had dinner with the nurses at the HH, and then drove over to Nashua to the Memorial Service for all of the patients who died from March 2009 - August 2009.
-Drove home, and got very lost. Luckily, my iPhone has GPS.
That’s what I get for staying in bed until noon.
Tomorrow is another full day at the HH. Perhaps on Saturday I’ll be able to chisel down my to-do list.

That was me today. I took the day off of work to be with Kat, the new lady friend, but due to my inability to actually enjoy and maintain a healthy relationship, I screwed up and had to give her a bit of space. Just before her birthday. Incredible timing, I know. So rather than go out with her for her birthday last night, I went out with some kids from my EMT class and got home sometime after 2. So I played catch-up on my stories (Mad Men and Dexter), went grocery shopping and got an inspection sticker, ran a mile and a half with my new running style (I have been watching a new video called Evolutionary Running and they have a lot of good things that help you run better. I was running pretty fast today and my pulse, while strong, didn’t get up much past 140. Even though I was flying. I was supposed to start on my homework, lift AND run, and get my new laptop all set up. So far, I have been as productive as you were.
Glad to see you regularly blogging again!

Campaign signs? Hmmm….
Also, hope you’re making pumpkin bread from REAL pumpkin. It’s so easy and my guess is that it would taste better. Canned pumpkin isn’t sold over here, so I’ve learned to use REAL pumpkin and wouldn’t go back.
