I love saving money. Who doesn’t? But I love it so much, I blog about it. Oh, wait… a lot of other people do, too. But anyway.
I went to CVS looking for a humidifier. I’ve been having an awful time in the morning and feel awful, and my throat hurts. They didn’t have the one I was looking for (a warm mist one, rather than a cool mist). I had $3.50 in “extra care bucks” (CVS free money), so I knew I had to get something. I grabbed some of those plastic dental floss things for work, (and didn’t think about it until after I bought them what a complete waste of plastic they are. I’m ashamed.). I then checked the coupon print out thing in the front of the store, and it gave me a $1 off any body wash or body lotion. So I thought “well, if I can get a body wash for cheap, then I can just donate it to a food drive that’s also looking for household things.” So I went to that aisle, and saw this one body was on sale for $2, AND you got a free body poof. So for the poof and the wash, I would only be paying $1. Then, my dental floss things were $2.50, bringing my total to exactly $3.50. I handed over my little paper extra care bucks, and walked out of the store without paying anything.
Pretty damn exciting. AND, I got a body wash to donate to someone less fortunate. Oh, and I was at the CVS in Nashua (near my hospice house), so I didn’t have to pay sales tax.
