I wake up still half a sleep at 7am to take it and then back to sleep if it's a weekend without having an alarm clock go off. Good luck on the internship. Question though...if you get it would you even have time to be part of City Council? As far as the blogging aspect, you could always turn it into a private blog so that nosy people can't be poking around where they shouldn't.
