My sister, Megan, got married on August 3rd here in Fitchburg. 

Her husband is a Brit, and they live over in England.  She had to send away for her spousal visa (to be able to live in England), and to do that, she had to mail her passport to NYC.   She has a wedding reception planned in England for this Sunday, for all of their friends/relatives in England who couldn’t trek all the way to the US for the wedding here.  She was planning on leaving for England today, and the rest of the family (me and my parents) were following her on a flight tomorrow night.

So anyway, Megan got an email yesterday saying “Your visa is being processed.  It usually takes about 10 business days.”  She was suppose to fly back to England TODAY.  She missed that flight.

Then today, she got an email saying “Your visa has been processed, and it will be overnighted to you.”  So, she’s supposed to get it in the mail via UPS tomorrow.  Soo…. she changed her flight to tomorrow night (same night we are flying).  Sooo….. we’re all traveling into Boston tomorrow, and flying out to London.  The three of us take off at 8:45 with Virgin Atlantic, my sister takes off at 9:30 on British Airways.  Hahahaha…. its funny that we’re not on the same flight.

I just got home from New Mexico tonight, and now I have to ship off again to London tomorrow.  I was kind of hoping that her visa wouldn’t come, so I could relax at home a bit…. but it is better that the three of us don’t have to change OUR plane tickets, cause that would just be an abundance of fees and such.

So we are all shipping out to London tomorrow night for fun filled British activities.  I’m back in the States Sept 2nd.

I’m *kind* of sick of vacationing.  I just want to relax in my own bed, and be able to eat my own food!!!!
